The new fire station for the City of Fresno was constructed by Klassen Corporation. The 10,678 square foot fully functional facility includes an apparatus bay with roll-up doors, office space, 6 overnight bunk rooms, restrooms, a fitness room, laundry room, locker room, and fully equipped kitchen and dining space. There is also a backup generator and an above-ground fuel tank to better serve the department.
This fire station serves as a much-needed improvement from the previous facility the department worked in and will improve fire protection and emergency response to the local community.
