CAT6 8P8C (eight position/eight contact) modular plug connectors which support TIA/EIA standards for twisted pair cabling up to 250 MHz and up to 350 MHz for patch cord lengths. IDEAL modular plugs are designed to work seamlessly with the IDEAL FT-45 and Telemaster series of modular plug crimp tools. Plugs are designed and manufactured to support all 100Ω cable wiring schemes including the widely used TIA-568A and TIA-568B configurations. This CAT6 connector is a single piece design. The single piece design allows for faster field termination while maintaining the proper pair twist ratio into the connector body. These plugs are manufactured to strict industry standards and tolerances that utilize traditional preparation and termination methods. These proven and preferred methods allow for improved compatibility among manufacturers and devices around the world without the need for special tooling or preparation methods.

• DATA CONNECTOR: Supports 1 gigabit Ethernet for CAT6 cable installations in home offices and commercial installations. Compatible with most CAT5e cables as well.
• CONSTRUCTION: This modular plug features a single-piece design that supports different wiring schemes, including TIA-568A and TIA-568B configurations. Conductors fully seated above pin contact, no opens due to a short/misaligned conductor
• EXCELLENT DESIGN: Along with a 3-point contact design, the 8P8C connector embraces a 50-micron gold plating contact area for durability & consistent connectivity. Compatible with 23 and 24 AWG conductors max conductor dia of 0.041 in. max jacket diameter 0.290 in.
• COMPATIBILITY: Complies with industry standard mechanical and electrical specifications for compatibility with compliant modular jacks and ports. UL Listed. As conductors feed-thru the connector face, all are visibly inserted far enough to be pierced by the pin below - eliminates short wires or opens.
