Outlets At Tejon

The Tejon Outlet shopping center is located off Interstate 5 between Los Angeles and Bakersfield, just south of Highway 99 interchange at the base of the Grapevine. Klassen Corporation was commissioned to design and build four different retail pads for Tejon Ranch Corporation located in Lebec, California.

The Klassen team was awarded the design and construction of 3 Tejon Ranch Retail Parcels and a gas station. The first project consisted of the design and construction of a 4,900 square foot retail shell building and 1.83 acres of site work. The project included an attached drive-thru and new parking lot. The second retail space consisted of a 2,900 sq. ft. building that is currently occupied by Starbucks and Pieology. The third pad consisted of the retail space that The Habit and Baja Fresh occupied, this retail space also consisted of a new building, parking lot, and drive-thru.

Adjacent to the retail spaces is the development of a new Shell Gas Station that was constructed along with a C-Store. This project included site development, new construction of the store, and gas offer with 10 MPD’s tank farm. Site improvements included a new parking lot with site lighting, landscaping, and irrigation.
