Disciples Church

Klassen Corporation was commissioned by Disciples Church to design and build a brand new church campus on 33.3 acres of land. This new state of the art facility has a Main Worship and Administration Building consisting of 14,700 sq. ft. and an 11,200 sq. ft. Children’s Ministry Building. The pre-engineered metal building serves as a facility to foster and develop the community of Bakersfield. The state-of-the-art Church was built to fit the needs of Pastor Josh Kirstine, while the design aspects combined the modern building with the traditional home feeling of the church. Disciples Church was formed in 1889 and soon later occupied one of the first distinguished landmarks of Bakersfield, so keeping consistent with the Church’s history was very important when designing and building their new campus.
